Hi there – I’m Deb and I’m so glad you’re here! Welcome to Vegelicious Kitchen. What’s that saying about grey hair and wisdom? Lol!
I’m a wife and a mom of 4 great grown up kids, 2 boys and 2 girls – my youngest is 21. I live in Northern California – in Sonoma County with my husband and my cat Trapper and I love it here. Here is Trapper, the King, on his throne!
I was the overseer of a large organic farm based community kitchen for many years, so I’ve been involved with food and people a lot. For the most part, my experience is with meatless food preparation and cooking – vegan and vegetarian. I love making beautiful healthy meals without having to spend all day in the kitchen and using fresh, organic, in season ingredients as much as possible.
The recipes that I’m sharing here are vegan and vegetarian – it’s my preferred way of eating.
I’m a recipe tweaker (is that a word?) Anyway, I like to play around with recipes and put my own spin on them. I have to remember to write down what I do though, or it will become one of my infamous “not to be duplicated” recipes! And, in the process, I have to admit that my kitchen gets really messy!
I’d really love to hear from you – please feel free to comment below, even if it’s just to say hello! PS I recently graduated from the Professional Plant-Based Certification Course at > Rouxbe Cooking School <check them out for a great course!
